Jay Tracey founded the firm in 1988, starting with more than 13 years experience in the automation & controls industry and strong knowledge in drives, web handling, converting, electronics and the power industry. He worked for General Electric in application engineering and sales. He was then a key player in a venture capital funded high technology company marketing two patented inventions for the paper industry. That experience launched him into sales where he grew to manage a technical sales force for a leading international systems integrator selling PLCs, variable speed drives and HMI/SCADA solutions to Fortune 500 companies.
Holding a BSME degree from the University of Lowell in Massachusetts, he brings more than 19 years experience in professional recruiting in the automation industry with a focus on technical sales/marketing managers and senior engineering management.

markphotoMark Auriema joined the firm in 1994 with more than 15 years experience in sales and marketing of Industrial Instrumentation & Control systems in the international and domestic arena. He has sold components and software directly at the distribution level and managed a network of independent distributors & VAR’s. In addition he has managed a sales force of direct outside salesmen selling to OEM’s and larger end users in the electronics industry. He also has extensive experience with rep and distributor networks in the U.S. and abroad in the high tech field.
Mark is a native of New York City and graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in Marketing/Economics. Mark’s focus is primarily in technical sales and general management areas with an emphasis on sales & marketing via distribution.
